The Lagos State Police Command has detained some officers for alleged misconduct.

This followed the emergence of a video showing operatives harassing youths in the Ojuelegba area of the state.

The video was captioned, “Police impunity is back on full display.”

The command’s spokesperson, Abimbola Adebisi, confirmed this in a post shared on her X handle @AbimbolaShotayo on Tuesday.

She noted that the officers had been identified and brought before the Commissioner of Police for questioning.

Adebisi said the statements of the officers had been obtained, while the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Fatai Tijani, had ordered their detention pending the outcome of further investigation into the matter.
