According to Portable, he suddenly noticed that the car’s brakes had stopped functioning properly while the vehicle was in motion. Acting quickly, he swerved the car to the side of the road to avoid a crash.
“God saved me, nothing do me. I noticed that the brake stopped working and swerved the car to one side,” the singer said in the video.
Fortunately, no injuries were recorded, and Portable disclosed that the vehicle did not sustain major damage during the incident.
The singer, who recently welcomed another child, also used the moment to express confidence about his safety, insisting that no accident could take his life.
“I can’t have an accident; even if I do, nothing will happen to me,” he added.
The incident comes only days after Portable suffered a defeat to comedian and content creator Carter Efe during the celebrity boxing event, Chaos in the Ring, held in Lagos.
