Portable makes bold claim, says his song ‘Zazu’ gave Olamide Int’l recognition

Nigerian street-hop musician Habeeb Okikiola, better known in the music industry as Portable, has asserted that his successful hit song titled “Zazu Zeh” provided renowned rapper Olamide “Badoo” with worldwide recognition.

In addition, Portable said in a recent social media video that his partnership with talented British rapper Skepta on the song titled ‘Tony Montana increased his profile in Nigeria.

Portable, whose successful song “Zazu Zeh” became a street anthem, also said that they hoped to work with Olamide again on another song in the near future.

The musician said, “Zazuu blow Olamide internationally, Tony Montana blow Skepta for streets. Olamide I need your verse or feature me on your album.”

Portable claims that he thinks the “Zazu” collaboration greatly expanded Olamide’s worldwide appeal, despite the fact that Olamide is a well-known and recognized artist in Nigeria and beyond. However, Olamide had already made a big impact outside before “Zazu Zeh.”
