President Donald Trump on Thursday predicted that a member of the Republican Party would be crowned winner of the 2028 presidential election in the United States.
Trump, who made the prediction during a wide-ranging phone interview on Fox News’ The Five, said it would be unfair for the Democrats to return to power via the next election.
“I would say it will be a Republican. I really believe that, and I think it will be a good one,” Trump said.
He further noted that the Republicans have a “combination of people”, stating that if they “put together a little combination, I think, it will be hard to beat that combination”.
DAILY POST reports that the next presidential election for the United States is scheduled for November 2028.
Trump, who is currently serving his second tenure, is constitutionally barred from running again.
