PSG beat Chelsea 8-2 (Agg) in tactical masterclass to reach Champions League quarter-finals

Paris Saint-Germain delivered a ruthless performance to crush Chelsea and book their place in the Champions League quarter-finals with a dominant 3-0 win at Stamford Bridge, sealing an emphatic 8-2 aggregate victory. Paris Saint-Germain wasted no time asserting control, with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia opening the scoring early before Bradley Barcola added a stunning second to completely kill off any hopes of a comeback for Chelsea, who had already been trailing heavily from the first leg. Substitute, Senny Mayulu put the result beyond doubt in the second half, capping off a clinical display from Luis Enriques side as they marched confidently into the last eight. PSG will now face either Liverpool or Galatasaray in the next round.  The French champions, still riding high after winning their first-ever Champions League title last season, look in top form at a crucial stage of the competition. This victory also serves as sweet revenge for their defeat to Chelsea in last years Club World Cup final. For Chelsea, it was another disappointing night in a difficult run. Liam Roseniors team never showed real belief of overturning the deficit after their first-leg collapse in Paris, where they conceded three late goals.  PSG struck just six minutes into the game after a defensive error allowed Kvaratskhelia to overpower his marker and finish confidently.
