A US Congressman, Rep. Riley Moore, has called for an immediate jail term for officials of the Department of Justice, who were involved in the alleged cover-up of the Nashville Covenant School shooter’s manifesto.
Moore made this call in a post on his verified X handle on Tuesday, describing the cover-up as enabling an anti-Christian act of terror.
According to him, the shooter’s manifesto indicated a specific hatred for white people and Christians.
He lamented that the immediate past President Joe Biden’s Justice Department had suppressed the information for almost two years.
The lawmaker was specific about the reason responsible for the 2023 mass shooting at The Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee, where a transgender individual killed six people, including three children and three adults.
“This is inexcusable. The people who covered this up, most likely to stop people from reaching the logical conclusion about the epidemic of trans violence, need to go to jail for a very long time,” he wrote.
