Russia launched one of its largest aerial assaults on Ukraine in recent months, firing nearly 1,000 drones within a 24-hour period, according to Ukrainian military officials. A maternity hospital in Ivano-Frankivsk was among the affected facilities.In Lviv, parts of the historic Bernardine Monastery Complex, a site within the UNESCO-listed historic center, were also damaged. Authorities said the extent of the destruction is still being assessed, with nearby buildings reportedly engulfed in flames.
