At least six Arsenal players have pulled out of the latest international duty due to injury.
Defender Gabriel Magalhaes is the latest Gunners player to withdraw from international duty with injury.
The Brazil Football Federation, CBF, said that Gabriel will miss Brazil’s friendlies against France and Croatia, which will take place in the United States, because of “pain in his right knee”.
The CBF added that no other player will be called to replace the 28-year-old.
This means that Gabriel has now joined other Arsenal teammates William Saliba, Leandro Trossard, Jurrien Timber and Eberechi Eze in withdrawing from their respective national teams during the international break, starting this week.
Also, it was revealed last week that Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard had also been left out of Norway’s squad as he recuperates from a knee injury.
