Speeding convoy crushes 26-year-old woman to d3ath in Port Harcourt

Friends, family and residents are mourning the tragic d3ath of 26-year-old woman, Moses Peace, who lost her life in a hit-and-run accident in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The incident occurred along Ada George Road on March 19, 2026. According to eyewitness accounts, the young woman was returning from a church program when she was struck by reckless drivers said to be in a convoy.  The witnesses allege that multiple vehicles in the convoy ran over her, and none reportedly stopped to render assistance or show concern. She was pronounced d3ad at the scene. Her tragic d3ath has sparked outrage and grief, with many calling for a thorough investigation and accountability for those responsible. Friends are urging residents, witnesses, commuters, property and and business owners around the area, who have useful information on the identify the convoy to come forward or contact relevant authorities.  "Moses Peace, a vibrant, promising 26-year-old, was tragically taken from us by reckless hit-and-run drivers (learnt it was a convoy) and we can't stay quiet, a lawyer and friend, Gloria Borlo, wrote.  "A life so full of light was extinguished in an instant, not by fate, but by irresponsibility and disregard for human life.  "No family should endure such devastation. No society should tolerate such injustice. A life taken must never be ignored. it must be accounted for. "If there is any conscience left, the individuals responsible must step forward and answer for their actions. And if they fail to do so, then as a community bound by justice and humanity, we must ensure they are brought to account. "This is a call, not just to witnesses, but to every conscience that still believes in what is right. "We urgently appeal to residents, commuters, and business owners around Ada George, Omega Junction and its environs. If you were anywhere within that axis between 7:30pm and 7:50pm on Thursday, 19th March 2026, the time this tragedy occurred, we implore you to come forward with any information you may have.  "No detail is insignificant. What may seem small to you could be the missing piece needed to secure justice. "There are preliminary accounts suggesting that the vehicle involved may have been either a Toyota Tundra or a Toyota Highlander. "However, we seek clearer, verifiable details, the vehicles color, distinguishing features, or license plate number. Anything that can help identify the perpetrator. "Furthermore, we call on property owners and business operators between Omega Junction and Okilton Junction who have functional CCTV systems to rise to this moment of civic responsibility.  "Your footage could serve as critical evidence.
