Nigeria women’s football team, Super Falcons have clinched qualification for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) after beating Benin Republic on aggregate.
The African champions will now go on to defend their title at the 2026 finals in Morocco.
The Falcons sealed their place after playing 1-1 in the second leg of the playoffs in Abeokuta on Tuesday.
Nigeria go through with a 3-1 aggregate win having won the first leg 2-0 in Lome Togo.
