Teebillz reflects on mother’s death, seeks forgiveness from family, loved ones

Nigerian music executive Tunji Balogun, popularly known in music circles as Teebillz, has opened up to the public about the emotional impact of losing his mother.

Teebillz, who lost his mum in June 2024, took to Instagram on Friday to express how her passing deeply affected him—revealing that while her death broke him, it also awakened something within.

In a heartfelt post shared on social media, the father of four also extended an apology to his children, their mothers, his family, and loved ones for any pain he may have caused.

‘’After all the pain and loss, losing my mother broke me, but it also woke something in me…..!

To my kids, their mothers, my family, and my loved ones….. I’m sorry for the hurt I caused.

”I’m trying… and trusting God to fix what I can’t.” Teebillz wrote on his official Instagram page.

The post has drawn emotional reactions from fans and colleagues, many of whom have sent words of encouragement and prayers as he continues to find strength through his loss.
