President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday held a closed-door meeting with former President Goodluck Jonathan at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The details of the meeting were however not made public to journalists at the State House.
But there were insinuations that issues by the two leaders centred on national unity, governance, and ongoing efforts to stabilise the country’s economy and security.

Tinubu had in recent months engaged past leaders and key stakeholders as part of efforts to address the problems plaguing the country.
Wednesday’s meeting with Jonathan is seen as part of that outreach and continuing efforts at national consensus-building.
