Former Minister of State for Science and Technology, Henry Ikechukwu Ikoh, has responded to a recent statement by Abia South Senator, Enyinnaya Abaribe, where he predicted that President Bola Tinubu will lose the 2027 presidential election.
Ikoh, who is the Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Abia, declared that President Tinubu will record a resounding victory in Abia State and other parts of the country in 2027.
In a statement on Wednesday, he described Abaribe’s remarks as “misleading and completely out of touch with reality.”
The former Minister, who said that Abaribe was not speaking for Nigerians, noted that his predictions on Tinubu’s chances were his personal opinion not backed with reality.
According to Ikoh, the Tinubu administration had already delivered tangible results in Abia and other States, including increased Federal allocations to the State and its local governments.
