Afrobeats superstar Tiwa Savage has addressed long-running claims that she avoids working with other female artists, setting the record straight in a powerful social media post.
On Tuesday, October 14, 2025, the singer took to her Instagram story to challenge what she described as “false narratives,” sharing a collage of her collaborations with several female musicians from across Africa. The post, titled “TIWA SAVAGE AND THE QUEENS SHE'S COLLABORATED WITH,” displayed cover art from twelve different projects, each representing a partnership with another woman in music.
Accompanying the visuals of other female artists, Tiwa Savage wrote: “Tomorrow they will say I don’t like other females or I don’t work with other females. Please, where are those people that set ring light to spread false narratives? And how many of these beautiful records have they helped us to promote?”
The singer’s compilation highlighted her work with top artists including Ayra Starr on Stamina and Gara, Waje on Onye and All Day, Simi on Men Are Crazy, Asa on Emotions, Efya on The One, and Amaarae on Tales by Moonlight. She also featured collaborations with Becca, Wavy The Creator, MzVee, and Di’Ja, among others.
