Toddler drowns after drunk dad fell asleep in hot tub while holding her

A Florida father was arrested for aggravated manslaughter after deputies say he fell asleep in a hot tub while holding his 20-month-old daughter and woke up to find her unresponsive.The Osceola County Sheriff's Office (OCSO) said that 33-year-old Reynard Huff was arrested after the incident early Saturday, Dec. 13, at an Airbnb in the Four Corners area near Kissimmee. Huff told investigators he had taken his daughter into the hot tub and dozed off with her in his arms. When he woke up, the toddler was not breathing.  The young girl was rushed to a hospital, where she was pronounced de@d.  Huff was initially charged with child neglect with great bodily harm, but those charges were upgraded Sunday, Dec. 14, to aggravated manslaughter of a child, according to WESH.  He remains in the Osceola County Jail as the investigation continues.The post Toddler drowns after drunk dad fell asleep in hot tub while holding her appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
