Sky Bet Championship club, Birmingham City are in talks to sign Ajax striker, Chuba Akpom this summer, DAILY POST reports.
The Blues want to sign the former Arsenal player on loan with obligation to buy.
Akpom has been told by Ajax to look for another club as he is no longer needed by the multiple Dutch champions.
The Nigerian-born striker was loaned to French club Lille in January.
The 29-year-old contributed three goals, and one assist in 16 league appearances for Les Dogues.
Akpom joined Ajax from Middlesbrough in 2023 after a stellar campaign that saw him emerge as top scorer in the Sky Bet Championship with 28 goals from 40 league appearances.
He was also named best player in the league during that campaign.
