Luka Modrić will wear the No. 14 shirt following the completion of his move to AC Milan on Monday.
The Croatian legend featured for Real Madrid at the Club World Cup, where they were eliminated in the semi-final by PSG.
Modrić has now departed the La Liga giants as a free agent after 13 years at the club.
The 38-year-old has signed a one-year deal with Milan, with an option for a second.
The 2018 Ballon d’Or winner arrived in Italy on Monday and underwent his medicals with the Serie A side.
Modrić grew up supporting Milan, as his idol and fellow Croat, Zvonimir Boban, played for the club in the 1990s.
Milan finished eighth in Serie A last season and missed out on European qualification.
The Italian club rehired Massimiliano Allegri as head coach after the season, replacing the dismissed Sérgio Conceição.
