Trump praises William and Charles at state banquet but pointedly leaves out Prince Harry

Donald Trump seemed to aim a subtle dig at Prince Harry during his Windsor Castle state banquet speech on his UK visit. The US president heaped praise on King Charles III and Prince William, describing the Prince of Wales as a remarkable son and really amazing. He also commended Princess Catherine as so radiant and so healthy, so beautiful. But noticeably, there was no mention of Harry despite his global recognition for founding the Invictus Games, a competition for wounded veterans. Instead, Trump highlighted Charles work with injured servicemen, saying the King had tended to wounded veterans like nobody else. The omission comes after years of Trump publicly criticising Harry and Meghan Markle. At different times, he has accused them of being disrespectful to the late Queen, called Meghan terrible, and said Harry betrayed his family. Harry and Meghan remain in California, away from the Trumps UK visit.
