Two Kano lawmakers die

Two members of the Kano State House of Assembly died on Friday.

The lawmaker representing Kano Municipal Local Government Area, Sarki Daneji, died barely minutes after death of his colleague, Hon. Aminu Sa’adu, who represented Ungoggo Local Government Area, was made public.

The deaths sent shockwaves across the state’s political circle, given the timing of the incidents and the prominence of the two legislators in the Assembly.

Daneji’s death was announced by Sanusi Bature,  the media side to the Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, in a post on his official Facebook page.
