Former Galatasaray star, Hasan Şaş has praised Victor Osimhen for his outstanding performance against Liverpool in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Şaş noted that Osimhen showcased remarkable strength, effectively overpowering Liverpool defender, Ibrahima Konaté during the Round of 16 first leg match.
In a discussion on the SporON YouTube channel, Şaş said, “At one point, Osimhen was positioned near the sideline, being closely marked by two defenders, including Konaté, who is nearly double Osimhen’s size. Yet, he was dragging him along.
“We can’t praise him enough. His efforts truly reflect the love of the fans.
“He plays with genuine passion and from the heart. I hope he remains a key player for Galatasaray.”
