Marcus Rashford made a spectacular Champions League start with Barcelona as he scored two goals to help the Spanish side beat Newcastle United 2-1.
The game played at the St James’ Park saw Rashford open scoring in the 58th minute and doubled their lead on 67 minutes before Anthony Gordon pulled one back for the hosts.
At the Etihad Stadium, Manchester City pulled off a big win over Italian champions Napoli as they sealed a 2-0 victory to begin their continental campaign.
