VP Shettima arrives Katsina with Buhari’s corpse, family members

Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived at the Umaru Musa Yar’adua Airport in Katsina State, with the corpse of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, along with Buhari’s family members and other high-powered delegates who went to London to bring back the body for burial at his home in Daura, today.

The Vice President’s delegation included Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, Borno State Governor Prof. Babagana Zulum, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, and Deputy Chief of Staff to the President, Senator Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia.

The Vice President was in London, where he was directed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to accompany the former president’s remains back to Nigeria.
