President Donald Trump has declared that vessels approaching the United States blockade of Iran’s ports will be ‘eliminated’.
Trump stated that he has ‘obliterated’ 158 Iranian ships as part of the US blockade along the Iranian coastline.
“Iran’s navy is resting at the bottom of the sea,” he posted on the social media platform Truth Social.
He mentioned that the only vessels they have not targeted are Iran’s ‘fast attack ships’, as they are not deemed ‘much of a threat’ to the US blockade.
He warned that these ships could be taken down using the same ‘system of kill’ employed against ‘drug dealers on boats’.
“Warning: If any of these ships approach our blockade, they will be swiftly eliminated, utilizing the same system of kill that we apply to drug dealers on boats at sea. It is rapid and ruthless,” he wrote, emphasizing the terms ‘blockade’ and ‘eliminated’.
He concluded with, “P.S. 98.2% of drugs entering the U.S. by ocean or sea have ceased! Thank you for your attention to this issue.”
