
Iran on Wednesday denied United States President, Donald Trump’s claim that the country’s president had requested a ceasefire
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Esmaeil Baqaei, who denied the claim on Wednesday, called it false and baseless.
Recall that Trump, a few days before his ultimatum to Iran ends, said Tehran has asked America for a ceasefire.
In a post on social media, Trump equally said that Iran’s new regime president is much less radicalised and far more intelligent than his predecessors.
The Republican also pointed at detailed, and constructive conversations, while Tehran denied any such dialogue.
Baqaei said no direct or indirect talks have taken place in the last 24 hours, and the parliament speaker, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, reiterated.
