Iran has said that no one or country has the capacity of setting deadlines for the Islamic Republic.
Iranian Foreign Minister, Abba Araghchi, gave this warning on Wednesday in an interview with Al Jazeera.
Araghchi also issued a stern warning to the United States President, Donald Trump, against using threat on Iran.
He said that the United States has tested Iran many times, noting that they do not accept deadlines.
According to him, securing the interests and rights of the Iranian people is what matters.
“You cannot speak to the people of Iran with the language of threats and deadlines. No one can set deadlines for us, artificial deadlines do nothing but make matters more difficult.
“And you have seen that these deadlines have been extended twice so far. The President of the United States must change his approach.
“Our people are great people with a very rich culture, and one must speak to the people of Iran with respect, otherwise they will receive exactly the response they are receiving now,” Araghchi said.
