Saudi Arabia has said that its Defense Ministry intercepted three Iranian drones east of its capital, Riyadh.
The defense ministry made this disclosure early Friday morning.
DAILY POST had reported that Iranian drone on Monday targeted the US Embassy in Riyadh.
According to the defense ministry, the attack caused a small fire and minor damage, stressing that no injuries were reported.
Israeli private Institute for National Security Studies said that Saudi Arabia has been targeted by 14 missiles and five drones since the war began.
Recall that the United States/Israel and Iran hostilities began last Saturday resulting in the death of the Iranian Supreme Leader.
