War: Trump talks too much – Iranian Minister

2 hours ago 2

Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Saeed Khatibzadeh, has lashed out at United States President Donald Trump, stating that he makes inconsistent and excessive statements.

Khatibzadeh made this remark while addressing journalists on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum in Turkey.

He also lambasted the US President over his latest remarks, that America could begin to drop bombs again if no agreement is reached with Iran by Wednesday.

“The US president talks too much. He said contradictory things within the same statement. I don’t know exactly what he meant,” Khatibzadeh said.

According to him, Tehran does not seek conflict, stressing that war would not produce any meaningful gains.

He maintained that Iran is prepared to defend itself if it comes under attack.

Khatibzadeh statement is coming amid increased uncertainty, as the United States and Iran continue to exchange sharp rhetoric, raising concerns over the possibility of further escalation in the region.
