Sunday Dare, the Special Adviser on Media and Public Communication to President Tinubu, says the Presidency will be sticking with the Nigerian Militarys stand that there was no recent coup attempt. Recall that on October 18, the Defence Headquarters (DHQ) had released a statement describing as false and misleading'' the reports online that alleged that activities to mark the 65th independence anniversary of Nigeria were cancelled over an attempted coup plot.
