Popular Nigerian businessman and internet personality Isaac Fayose has accused the Bola Tinubu-led administration of being selfish and desperate for power.
In an interview with DAILY POST on Saturday, Isaac, a brother of former Ekiti State governor Ayodele Fayose, said he was once a supporter of the administration but stopped after noticing Tinubu’s desperation for power.
He accused the government of being insensitive to the plight of the masses, stating that its focus is fixed on the 2027 election while terrorists continue to kill unsuspecting citizens.
“I used to support this government before, but when I noticed that they are selfish and desperate for a second term, and they don’t care about who is dying, I began to hate the government.
“This administration is selfish and desperate for a second term. Look at how many governors have decamped, look at what they are doing to the PDP,” he said.
Fayose, who believes that opposition remains the beauty of democracy, slammed Tinubu’s government over an alleged plot to plunge the country into a one-party state.
“You are turning the country into a one-party state because of your own selfish interests. When you do everything for your own selfish interests, it means you don’t have the interest of the people at heart.
“The beauty of democracy is the opposition. When you kill opposition just for your own gain, that is selfishness,” he added.
