Woman narrates how her aunt, who was beating her, reacted when her husband tried to intervene

A woman has shared a traumatising experience from her childhood that she will never forget. She narrated how her parents sent her to stay with her uncle and his wife to protect her during a religious crisis in Kaduna. She went on to narrate how her aunt was flogging her one day for not helping their child with homework. When she ran to her uncle and he intervened, she said the aunt also abused her husband in her presence for interfering. She recalled: "Due to sharia war in KD.
