Security operatives have rescued a woman in Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State following a coordinated operation that led to the neutralization of five suspected criminals.
The rescue mission, carried out in the early hours of the day, was described as swift and intelligence driven.
Authorities said the “victim was freed unharmed and is currently receiving medical attention and psychological support”.
During the operation, five suspects believed to be members of a criminal gang were reportedly neutralised after an exchange of fire with security personnel.
