‘You’ll face consequences if you get involved’ – Iran warns European nations

Iran’s deputy foreign minister, Majid Takht-Ravanchi, has told European countries to not get involved in the conflict between the US and Israel.

He said that Europe could end up being seen as fair targets if they get involved in the conflict between the US and Israel against Tehran.

Takht-Ravanchi said to France 24 that if any country joins the US and Israel in attacking Iran, that country will also be a target for Iran’s response.

He mentioned that Iranian officials had been talking seriously and honestly with the US before Washington chose to take action with Israel on Saturday.

He said, “We don’t trust the Americans. They not only turned against us but also broke the rules of diplomacy.”

Amir Saeid Iravani, Iran’s United Nations, UN, ambassador, said that at least 1,332 Iranian civilians have been killed so far in the war between the US and Israel against Tehran, with thousands more hurt.

He also blamed the US and Israel for committing war crimes.

Iravani spoke to reporters at the UN’s main office in New York and said that the US and Israel “have shown they don’t accept any limits when they do harmful things.”

He said the two countries were carrying out “indiscriminate” attacks that were “deliberately” aimed at “densely populated” areas where civilians lived, as well as important buildings like schools, hospitals, parks, and sports places.

“He said these actions are clearly war crimes and crimes against humanity.”
