 Senegal has been thrown into mourning following the heartbreaking death of young goalkeeper Cheikh Tour, who was found dead in Ghana, according to a statement released by Senegals Ministry of African Integration and Foreign Affairs. Authorities say the promising footballer was deceived by fraudsters posing as football scouts, who made him believe he had been invited to Ghana for a professional trial with a top club. Believing his football dreams were at last within reach, Cheikh set out full of hope, unaware he was stepping straight into a trap. According to reports, the individuals behind the false invitation kidnapped the young goalkeeper upon his arrival and later demanded a ransom from his family. Despite desperate efforts, his relatives could not meet the kidnappers demands.
