Young woman found de@d with stab wounds in Adamawa

The lifeless body of a yet-to-be-identified young woman was discovered with stab wounds behind the fence of a university located in the Mubi Local Government Area of Adamawa State. Residents of the community discovered the corpse on Tuesday, Oct. 21, and promptly alerted the police. A counter-insurgency expert, Zagazola Makama, took to X to share details of the incident.  He said that after residents alerted the police of the body, the Divisional Police Officer led a team to the location and recovered the body before depositing it at a mortuary.  Makama wrote, A distress call was received by the Divisional Police Officer of Mubi North at about 12:00 p.m. on October 21, reporting that an unidentified female corpse was found behind the Adamawa State University fence with multiple stab wounds. On receipt of the report, the DPO led a team of detectives to the scene, took photographs, and evacuated the corpse to the Federal Medical Centre, Mubi, for autopsy.  He noted that further police investigation led to the arrest of two suspects a soldier and a vigilante in connection with the incident. According to the source, preliminary investigation led to the arrest of one Private Tanko Salihu and one Yahaya Idi Gadzama.  This comes days after the lifeless body of a 45-year-old woman was found near Federal University Gashua (FUG) in Bade local government area of Yobe State (read here).  The post Young woman found de@d with stab wounds in Adamawa appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
