Brazil head coach, Carlo Ancelotti, has spoken about their extreme sadness following their elimination from the 2026 World Cup.
The Selecao lost 2-1 to Norway in a Round of 16 clash on Sunday.
Erling Haaland struck twice late in the game, before Neymar Jr pulled one back with a late penalty.
“I think we are all extremely sad, because I see that the team has delivered not an exceptional World Cup but a good one,” Ancelotti said.
“I also think that in today’s match we deserved to win. When you go through a moment like this, you have to think that the loss is the beginning of a new adventure, and a new season.
“We must continue to work and improve, and find new ideas. I believe that this loss is not the end, but the beginning of a new cycle.”
