2027: El-Rufai can’t get Northwest votes that will injure Tinubu’s chances – Musawa

The Minister of Art, Culture, and Tourism, has said former Kaduna State governor, Nasiru El-Rufai, can’t take votes in the Northwest that would injure the chances of President Bola Tinubu in 2027.

Musawa made the remark while featuring on Mic On podcast with Seun Okinbaloye.

She also noted that the opposition as presently constituted can’t unseat Tinubu because they are all interested in the presidency.

He said: “Atiku and all the members of the opposition to be fair are formidable opposition, all of them have honestly played a part in Nigerian politics, they have reached the top of their careers in politics.

“The way the opposition is emerging I don’t see how as it is now can unseat Tinubu. You have an opposition that is overcrowded, you have an opposition of men who must be king.

“Every single member of that opposition is vying for the same spot and that is a recipe for disaster.

“I don’t think Nasiru El-rufai is a person with the ability to take any votes from the northwest in a way that will injure President Tinubu in 2027.”
