There is an ongoing pandemonium in Ungogo Local Government Area of Kano State, as residents burned down campaign posters of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, presidential candidate, Peter Obi and his running mate, Rabiu Kwankwaso.
In the video sighted by DAILY POST, the NDC Chairman for the local government, Bilyaminu Bachirawa, was dragged down from a moving motorcycle.
It was gathered that Bachirawa was almost lynched by angry youths, who were pursuing the moving motorcycle and screaming.
DAILY POST reports that the NDC on Saturday evening, declared Obi as its presidential candidate in next year’s general election.
A few moments after his emergence, Obi officially unveiled Kwankwaso as his running mate.
Obi and Kwankwaso had recently dumped the African Democratic Congress, ADC, for the NDC, citing internal divisions and court cases.
