At least eight people have been killed and approximately 27 others injured after an Iranian ballistic missile reportedly struck the Israeli city of Beit Shemesh, local authorities confirmed on Sunday.
Emergency services have been rushed to the scene, attending to the wounded and assessing damage to residential and commercial areas.
This strike occurred just 30km west of Jerusalem.
This attack comes amid escalating tensions in the Middle East following recent military operations by Israel and the United States against Iran.
