Abducted Kaduna woman returns with pregnancy after being repeatedly r@ped and beaten by bandits during her five-month captivity

A woman abducted from Kasuwan Magani area of Kaduna State has returned from bandit captivity with pregnancy.   Journalist, Reuben Buhari, who disclosed this in a Facebook post on Thursday, April 30, 2026, said the victim regained her freedom two days ago after five months in captivity.   Narrating the woman's harrowing ordeal in captivity, Buhari revealed that she endured repeated physical and s3xual abuse, highlighting the chilling realities faced by female victims of kidnapping.  According to Buhari, the woman has made a decision to terminate the pregnancy but couldnt proceed with the procedure because she was weak and needed stabilization first, including pints of blood.  "She was tending to her seriously ill mother in Kasuwan Magani when kidnappers broke into the house and took four of them, he wrote. "For five months, she was held in the bush, battling hunger, sickness, and enduring constant beatings.  "Two days ago, she regained her freedom after her ransom was complete.  "We took her to the hospital and found out she was pregnant. She had been repeatedly r@ped by the kidnappers.  "Her decision to evacuate the pregnancy couldnt proceed because she was weak and needed stabilization first, including pints of blood.  "Her feet were also swollen because she had been barefoot throughout her ordeal.  "Her ordeal isnt what most people would want to hear; its gruesome.
