Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, on Saturday described the members of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, as haters of good things.
Obasa made the remark while tagging ADC as Aggrieved Disjointed Council.
He spoke in Lagos during a special prayer session for President Bola Tinubu’s 74th birthday.
Obasa also made a veiled remark at former Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola, saying he’s a great betrayer who ate and dined with them.
He said: “Some people are haters of good things, Aggrieved Disjointed Council, ADC, they have been going about spreading fake news and why did I say so?
“We also have one who is a great betrayal who ate with us and at the end of the day, he closed the border. Whenever you see somebody with clothes without a pocket, just run away.
“We know that for four years there was no commissioner, no local government, it was sole proprietor management for eight years and now they are coming back to tell us that they have magic wand they want to use, something that they did not use while they occupied the office. I will not be part of ADC that Nigerians are against.”
