The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has produced three presidential candidates for the 2027 general elections.
A faction of the party led by factional national chairman, Bala Gombe had unveiled businessman, Prof. Chris Uba, as its presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections following the conclusion of its nationwide primary elections.
It also presented flags to 29 governorship candidates across the six geopolitical zones of the country.
In another development, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar had also earlier emerged as the presidential candidate of the party faction led by David Mark after defeating ex-Rivers State governor Rotimi Amaechi and former banker Mohammed Hayatu-Deen in a primary election held across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory.

On it’s part, a third faction led by its 2023 presidential candidate, Dumebi Kachikwu, picked him as its sole presidential candidate ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The Electoral Committee Chairman and Benue State party chairman, Elias Adikwu, announced Kachikwu’s adoption, which was ratified by delegates at the ADC National Convention held on Sunday at A-Class, Abuja.
For now, it is still.unvlear which of the factions would have it’s candidate on the ballot paper, as pending court cases remain undecided.
