ADC with Peter Obi as candidate fastest way to lose, Atiku no march for Tinubu – Musawa

Hannatu Musawa, Minister of Art, Culture and Tourism, has said the fastest way for the African Democratic Congress, ADC, to lose the 2027 presidential election is by fielding Peter Obi as its candidate.

Musawa disclosed this while noting that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar is no march for President Bola Tinubu in 2027.

She made this known while featuring on the latest edition of Mic One podcast with Seun Okinbaloye.

He said: “I don’t think Atiku is a march for Tinubu but he is a formidable opponent. Atiku as much as I admire him as a patriot, I don’t think he is a march for Tinubu.

“If Peter Obi is on the ticket as the presidential candidate, that is the fastest way the opposition is going to lose this (2027) election, I promise you.”

The Minister also noted that if ADC fields Atiku as its flag bearer, the party doesn’t recognizes that the South should remain in power.

“And if it’s Atiku on that ticket, it means the ADC doesn’t recognize that the South should maintain power,” she added.
