Super Eagles head coach Éric Chelle has said his players must work hard to achieve victory in their semi-final tie against Morocco.
The three-time champions will face their biggest test at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations when they confront the hosts at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, Rabat on Wednesday.
The Super Eagles will also be coming up against a North African opposition for the third time in the competition.
Nigeria defeated Tunisia 3-2 in their second group game, and eliminated Algeria 2-0 in the quarter-final.
Chelle’s side returned to Fès from Marrakech on Sunday after the game against Algeria, before making the trip to Rabat on Monday.
The Malian declared that they are focused on winning the game.
“We have to work hard to win this on Wednesday,” Chelle told reporters on Tuesday.
“Of course, it is very demanding traveling to different places within three days ahead of a semi-final, but as professionals, it doesn’t matter. We must be mentally ready and give our best despite the stress. We have no excuses.”
