Carthage Eagles of Tunisia head coach, Sami Trabelsi, has shared his thoughts about the Super Eagles, DAILY POST reports.
The North Africans will come up against Eric Chelle’s men at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Taifa Stars of Tanzania and the Cranes of Uganda are the other teams in the group.
The Super Eagles finished second at the last edition of the AFCON and are among the favourites to win the title in Morocco.
Trabelsi has high regard for the Super Eagles, whom he described as a continental powerhouse.
“Nigeria remains a continental powerhouse, with a vast pool of talent playing at top European clubs,” Trabelsi told CAFonline.
Tunisia defeated Nigeria 1-0 the last time both countries met in the Round of 16 fixture at the AFCON 2021 finals in Cameroon.
