Swedish club AIK have stopped Zadok Yohanna from linking up with the Super Eagles for the Unity Cup in London, DAILY POST reports.
Zadok was one of the several new players named in the Super Eagles squad for the international friendly tournament by head coach, Éric Chelle on Wednesday.
The 18-year-old sustained a hamstring injury while in action for the Gnaget two weeks ago.
The winger, who is still recuperating from the injury, is expected to return to action before the end of the month.
AIK said the decision to stop him from playing at the Unity Cup was made for sporting reasons and due to the player’s health status.
Zadok has contributed two goals and three assists in seven league appearances for AIK this season.
