With the summer transfer window opened on June 15 and running until September 1, Premier League clubs have wasted little time making their moves. From record-breaking fees to shrewd free transfers, here's how the window is shaping up so far.

No club has been busier than Tottenham Hotspur, who have made a clear statement of intent under new management. Their headline arrival is Sandro Tonali from Newcastle United for a reported £100m, joined by West Ham midfielder Mateus Fernandes (£85m) and Brighton defender Jan Paul van Hecke (£52m). Spurs also raided their London rivals for Andy Robertson, who joined on a free transfer from Liverpool, while Marcos Senesi arrived from Bournemouth and goalkeeper Martin Dubravka signed from Burnley, both also on free deals.
