A five-man gang of armed robbers have kidnapped one Alhaji Baki Atoyebi in the Onipanu area of Ogun State, carting away with his POS machine and N900,000 cash.

DAILY POST reports that Atoyebi was kidnapped on Monday, at about 8:14 pm from his residence.

The armed men reportedly invaded Atoyebi’s compound, switched off the generator to lure him outside, and on coming out alongside another resident to inspect his generator, he was kidnapped.

They also carted away three mobile phones, a power bank, and keys to Toyota Highlander and Corolla vehicles.

However, the police in the state on Thursday said they have rescued Atoyebi and recovered his mobile phones and vehicle keys from the scene.
