Arsenal: Thierry Henry tells Arteta what’ll happen if he fails to win any trophy

Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry, has told manager, Mikel Arteta that he would have to answer questions from the club’s board if he fails to win any trophy for the Gunners this season.

Arteta’s side is currently competing to win both the Champions League and the Premier League.

They sit at the top of the Premier League table with three points ahead of second-position Manchester City, who have a game in hand.

Arsenal will also face Atletico in the Champions League semi-final second leg tie on Tuesday for a place in the final.

The last time Arsenal won a major trophy was in 2020 under Arteta after beating Chelsea in the FA Cup final to win the trophy.

Speaking on CBS Sports, Henry said, “The board is gonna have to decide what they are gonna do with Mikel Arteta. All I’m saying is that at one point, after all those years and the amount of money on the table to have two teams, we have all said Arsenal have the best squad this season.

“At one point, you’ll have to talk and answer some questions if you don’t win. It is just a normal thing after so long.

“While it’s all good and we are all supporting as Arsenal fans where we are going to be, but if it doesn’t happen, like I always said, you are going to have to answer some questions that the board is going to ask you.”
