Ballon d’Or: Hazard lists three things Mbappe needs to win award at Real Madrid

Former Real Madrid ace, Eden Hazard has said that Kylian Mbappe needs to win the UEFA Champions League, Spanish LaLiga title and go far with the France national team in the World Cup to win the 2026 Ballon d’Or.

Hazard also expressed confidence that Mbappe will eventually win the Ballon d’Or in his career, even if he fails to win the prestigious individual prize this year.

Mbappe is yet to win the Ballon d’Or in his glittering career so far and has been nominated on several occasions in the past.

“Mbappé and Ballon d’Or? He will win Ballon d’Or,” Hazard said (via TeleFoot).

“He needs to win the Champions League… La Liga… or go far in the World Cup.

“But he will win a Ballon d’Or at some point, of course.”

Mbappe has been impressive for Real Madrid so far this season, and he is among the top favourites to win the Ballon d’Or this year.

The France international has scored 30 goals across all competitions for the Los Blancos so far.
