Bandits k!ll man, abduct his brother in Abuja

Bandits have k!lled a man and abducted his brother in Kubwa, Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT. It was gathered that the bandits raided the new quarry layout at Arab Road on Sunday, June 7, 2026. They broke into a house where they k!lled a resident simply identified as Muftahu and abducted his younger brother, named Abubakar Sadiq. A resident, Lawal Yahaya, told Daily Trust during a visit on Monday that the attackers arrived in the area some minutes before 11pm and operated for about two hours before leaving. He stated that the owner of the house, a female fashion designer simply known as Hajiya, was heard soliciting for assistance from neighbours, but none came to their rescue. He further stated that a tailor working under the designer was, however, able to escape unhurt after sneaking into the house ceiling.  He remained there till morning, when the security men arrived for investigation. That was when he suddenly jumped out from the ceiling to everyones surprise Yahaya said. According to the publication, during a similar attack on the neighbourhood in December 2022, an occupant of the house, simply identified as Oshodi, was k!lled, while his neighbour, a lady, was abducted. A senior police officer at the Byazhin Division in Kubwa, where the incident happened, however, confirmed the attack. The post Bandits k!ll man, abduct his brother in Abuja appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
